Recently, OKCoin ran a fundraising event involving multiple beneficiaries, including Bitcoin ABC. Unfortunately, there were issues with this fundraiser, as explained by in this article. Regardless of our criticism, OKCoin sent the funds to Bitcoin ABC just the same, which leaves ABC in a predicament. If ABC were to accept the funds, it wouldn’t be consistent with what we’ve already expressed concerning this situation. On the other hand, returning the funds would needlessly deprive the Bitcoin Cash community.
